Radial piston motors KM 11 - KM 110

Our radial piston motors of the "KM" series prove themselves daily in countless applications and have done so for many decades. They are constantly being further developed and optimized for new applications. Particularly noteworthy is the long service life and compact design of the motors.

This means that the motors can also be used in applications with limited installation space and demanding external influences. On the other hand, they exhibit very uniform concentricity, even at low speeds. Which is why they are particularly well suited as low-speed motors and for control applications.

Bottom roller drive for coil winding

In the steel industry, downstream of the rolling mill, the flat steel is coiled into strip steel coils. These coils, which can weigh up to 45 tons, are the most common form of transport for flat steel products. The machine for coiling the flat steel consists, among other things, of two rollers at the bottom on which the coil rests. The rollers are driven by hydro-brake geared motors. They thus roll up the coil. The good controllability of the hydraulic motors ensures high process reliability.

Further application examples:

Production lines / blown film

Recycling / Schredder

Mining / slewing ring drive

Marine & Offshore / Level Control

Hydraulic motor KM 11 - RM 11

In radial piston engines, seven radially arranged pistons act on the crankshaft via a heptagonal ring with needle cage. In the KM 11 engine type, control is by means of translational movement of the control ring and gap seal to the housing. The RM 11 radial piston engine, on the other hand, has a backlash-adjusting control system. This makes the motor less sensitive to the effects of pressure and temperature and reduces leakage.
